Tyson is an Assistant Professor of Agricultural Education with a Ph.D. earned from Oregon State University in 2015.

Research Interests

Assessing the need for a sufficient scientific and professional workforce through school-based agricultural education. Focus on: Teacher attrition and retention, diversified teacher recruitment, the work-family interface, teacher competence and professional development, STEM illumination within SBAE, and student career preparation
